Driving licence
Documents accepted:
– A valid European driving licence type B, AM, A1, A2 or A
or
Driving licence for non-European cars, in any language, provided that it is written in Latin alphabet and includes a passport photo.
or
– Patentino (only in Italy)
or
– Un brevet de sécurité routière, BSR (only in France)
Documents refused:
– A “white” permit or with limited validity
– Declaration of loss or theft of driving licence
Other Identity Documents
An identity document is required if you have transmitted:
– A BSR (only in France)
or
– A patentino (only in Italy)
or
– If you do not have a driving licence and you were born before 01/01/1988 (only in France)
or
– If the licence transmitted does not have a photo on it
Documents accepted:
– A national ID issued in a country of the European Economic Area or in Switzerland.
or
– A passport, in any language, as long as it is written in the Latin alphabet.
or
– Residence permit issued in a country of the European Economic Area.
